Rental Master Bathroom Makeover | At Home Spa Day
Our master bathroom needed some help. It was looking pretty boring compared to our master bedroom so I wanted to spruce it up a bit. 😉
Here’s the BEFORE:
Here’s the AFTER:
I know many have this kind of bath/shower unit. Instead of wishing for a tiled shower or bath, let’s be happy with what we have! Adding a STOOL next to it is a great way to spruce it up. Then add various bath items and a HAND TOWEL.
Instead of getting a small bath rug, I grabbed a RUG that took up almost the entire bathroom floor. I love the pattern and goes with the boho style I’m going for.
Before we moved out of our previous home, I was using the freestanding bathtub quite a bit to relax and clear my head. Even though I don’t have a freestanding tub anymore, I still wanted a space that I can unwind especially with our busy schedules lately.
For an at home spa day, I made this drink which was delicious and refreshing. It includes grapefruit, mandarin oranges, cucumbers, and mint.
Add greenery in your bathroom! I got this plant from Trader Joe’s. I love going to Trader Joe’s for flowers too. The price is great and they have a variety to choose from!
I love adding items with textures like the BATH TOWEL and SHOWER CURTAIN! It gives it a clean simple look, but is still eye catching.
I do want to mention that this towel is not a thick towel… just an FYI for those who prefer thick towels! The shower curtain I highly recommend. Love the detail and quality!
Bath items can make great home decor pieces! I got a set from AMAZON from BEETS AND APPLES which includes bath bombs, bath salt, candles, and bath soap.
I’m not sure if any of you do this, but I like to add eucalyptus bundles in the shower. It relieves sinus and respiratory issues, but it also helps destress! Since I was going to take a bath, I put the eucalyptus bundle lower.
These few additions are a great and easy makeover for any bathroom! Give it a try!
