Modern Fall Decor | Tablescape
Who else is in the decorating spirit for fall?! Instead of going all out with Halloween decor, I decided to go for a more fall look. That way I don’t have to swap out decor from Halloween to Thanksgiving. I guess you can call me lazy..LOL! I went a little bit more neutral using black and white (what a huge surprise 😉 ) with some pops of color.
First, I started with the open shelving (love ours from NORTHERN CONTOURS). I grabbed a ceramic pitcher and added greenery that I bought at the TARGET BULLSEYE section.
Think of different heights when styling a shelf. Also, remember to layer / stack pieces and place on shelf at different depths similar to what I did with the black houses! It all doesn’t have to align perfectly in a straight row. When I was a family photographer, the families that layered clothing and added accessories definitely photographed the best and ended up being my favorite photos! Here, I added a mini succulent on top of the MACKENZIE CHILDS SALAD PLATES.
I also stacked two different kinds of bowls for contrast and height.

Now time for the tablescape! I sure had fun with this! The only new pieces were eight stems of greenery and four packs of pumpkins. All from the TARGET BULLSEYE section! Everything else I already had!
I started with what I already had on my table as a centerpiece which were the candle holders, a wood charger, and speckled ceramic pumpkins.
I then added the stems. Again, layering is key! I put one stem on top of another at each end.
I also added mini pumpkins on top of the stems and in each bowl to add color against the black and white courtly check.
Loving the modern fall vibe with this tablescape! I’d love to see how you decorate for fall so I can add it to a blog post of “what my friends are doing!” Post a photo this weekend of your fall tablescape and tag me so I can share on my blog! (please take a photo in natural light and your account must be public for me to view it) I can’t wait to see what yours looks like!
