House Tour of a Modern Multi Level Home

Many of you know that we sold this multi level custom house and finally closed on this house TODAY (March 22nd)!!

Our family had such amazing memories in this custom home that we built in 2018. I love the fact that it’s a modern home located in Iowa out in the country. I’m sure going to miss the country view from the backyard. The view is incredible all year long. I hope the new owners love it as much as we did!

I also wanted to share some images of this custom built home when it was furnished. I had fun making this house feel like home.

Here’s the accent wall that I had done using a sponge! Check out the blog post DIY SPONGE WALL to see how I did this! This is an easy DIY project that ANYONE can do!

I also had done a CHALKBOARD STATION on the left. It’s an ever changing artwork created by the kids!

For my son’s room, I created a FAVORITE THINGS WALL. I had asked what his favorite things were and drew it on the chalkboard wall. We didn’t live there long enough for him to change his favorite things, but if he did I could erase and add something else. Oh, the perks of having a chalkboard wall!

From the foyer, the steps led up to the kitchen and living room.

I’m sure going to miss this grocery door! It’s a door in the pantry that connects to the garage. That way you can put groceries straight from the garage to the pantry!

I spray painted these wall letters and put them on the wall! Here’s the LETTER WALL DECOR project if you want to see more! This is the view once you enter the house from the garage.

One of the things I miss about this house is the freestanding bathtub in the master bathroom! I used it quite a bit the last few months of living there. I would relax in there and listen to podcasts.
