14″ which is plenty of leg room under the counter in my opinion!

WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR COUNTERSTOOLS?

I bought it at World Market. I love it, but if you have little kids like toddlers, I wouldn’t recommend it. It may break if they stand on it.

WHAT MATERIAL IS YOUR COUNTERTOP AND WHERE DID YOU GET IT?

It’s a Atlantic – Stealth quartz from The Stone Shop.

WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR CABINETS?

They are Northern Contours cabinets (color Majestic Walnut and Coal Super Matte) from Waukee Cabinetworks. The floating shelves are the same material as the cabinets.

WHERE ARE YOUR PENDANTS FROM?

The 3 pendants are from World Market and the light fixture above the sink is from IKEA that my husband spray painted black.

HOW WELL DOES THE DOWNDRAFT ACTUALLY WORK?

We have a JennAir cooktop that has a downdraft. We don’t use it too often but when we do both my husband and I think it works pretty well. We don’t have any complaints! We decided to do a downdraft cooktop because we didn’t want a hood above our countertop. We wanted pendants.
