DIY Christmas Sign
I’ve been decorating for Christmas, and I really wanted to put something on the stucco of our fireplace. I didn’t want anything too over the top because I didn’t want to take away from the modern look of the fireplace.
After going through aisles at the craft store, I spotted these PINE CRAFT STEMS.
I decided to spell out “Cheer” in cursive writing since you can easily bend these. They remind me of craft pipe cleaners. I twisted ends together to spell it out.
Below is the start of “C” and then working onto “h”…
..then working onto “e.”
I used MINI COMMAND HOOKS to stick it on the fireplace. Can you spot it?
Here’s another close up!
Below is what it looks like from far away. I’m happy with how it turned out, and it was such an easy DIY project! Next time I’ll do a quote!
The kids came home and the younger kids had no idea what it said (they don’t teach cursive in school)…haha!
Let me know what you think!! Would you want to try it in your home?!
