Des Moines Home Show Expo 2019

Anyone else love going through houses and seeing what cool things they incorporate in the house and how it’s styled? Well, I sure do! Niña and I were invited to attend builders night before it was open to the public.

They had 6 houses this year! Check them out below!

House #1 is a Dreamscape Builders house. They had 2 houses in this year’s home show. Here’s the first one:

The image on the right shows an opening from the master closet to the laundry room!

The image below is me standing on the catwalk looking down at Blaine in the living room.

House #2 is a Johnson Construction house. They received 1st place in all of the award categories! Way to go! This home was styled by Jessica Rae Interiors .

I have a grocery door in my house, and this pantry has one too! Plus, I love the organization in this pantry done by Neat Method Des Moines.

House #3 is another Dreamscape Builders. I’m totally digging this exterior!

I thought it was pretty neat to put a bookcase to hide the utility room.

They even had this play house that matched the exterior of the main house!

House #4 is an Element 119 house. This house is a Modern European style, and I loved the layout of the house. Check out those light fixtures and hood! This was styled by Ash to Beauty!

Love the wallpaper in the kids bedrooms.

This was the only house that had a pool!

House #5 is a Kruse Development house. Love this modern unique home which was styled by Elizabeth Erin Designs!

Those vertical lines on the wall are actually LED lights!

This tub was from Australia! So cool!

These stairs!!

Only 2 TVs are shown in the photo, but they actually had 3 TVs on that wall! Perfect for those sports fanatics!

House #6 is a Nico Construction house. This home was styled by Jessica Rae Interiors .

Which house is your favorite?!

After going through all the houses, we ate and stayed for the award ceremony. It made for a great date night! Thanks for having us Home Builders Association of Greater Iowa!
