Current Obsession : Jade Roller

Many of you saw on my Instagram stories that I had bought a jade roller a few weeks ago after hearing people rave about it. I wanted to use it for awhile before letting you all know what I thought of it. Well, I’ve been using it for over 3 weeks now, and I’M OBSESSED!

If you’re wondering what in the world a jade roller is, it’s a facial massage tool that has been around since the 17th century!

Here is the list of benefits:

1. reduces appearance of under eye circles (especially if the jade roller is cold)

2. it allows skincare to deeply penetrate into skin

3. brightens complexion

4. tightens pores

5. reduces appearance of fine lines

6. reduces inflammation & puffiness

boosts blood circulation

I put my jade roller in the fridge so when I’m ready to use it, it’s nice and cold. It feels soooo good on my skin!

Here’s what I do:

1. First up, I wash my face. I use the Countermatch Cleansing Milk during the day, and the Cleansing Balm at night.

2. After washing my face, I use my jade roller with my facial oil, but you can also use it with you moisturizer.

3. Roll the larger end of the jade roller from center of face towards your ear, pick it up, then roll it onto skin again from center of face towards your ear. You don’t want to roll it back and forth like a paint roller because you don’t want to pull the skin.

4. Roll the smaller end of the jade roller around your eye.

5. Roll the larger end on your neck

Long story short, it’s definitely a tool you’ll want to try! I’ve been using it consistently and have noticed a difference. My skin feels awesome and is well moisturized. Plus, my foundation goes on soooo smooth. I’ve really enjoyed adding this tool to my daily routine. It’s like a facial massage every day!
