30 DAY CHALLENGE
30 days. Keto diet (the best that I can because I don’t understand macros) + a DAILY activity even if it’s going for a mile walk. I don’t get excited to go work out so I have to take baby steps😉 and for me any activity is a BIG step.
Anyone want to do this with me?! To keep myself accountable, I’m going to write down in my notes on my phone what I eat and what activity I did. I did pin some stuff on my Pinterest account! The Pinterest board is called “30 DAY CHALLENGE” to help me and you if you need some sources and guidance too! I’ll be pinning more on there!
Food can be the toughest. I plan on sharing on here food / recipes I am eating either during the day or for dinner. Why am I doing this challenge? I had done Keto for a good month a few months ago and was SO happy with the results and I felt awesome! Then BOOM life happened. The last month of school made for a very busy month of May, back to back soccer games which usually made us grab something quick, dance competitions, Tulip Time to eat all the yummy food, and special occasions like Mother’s Day & anniversary which made me get off track. I’m human so I understand treating myself once in awhile is ok, but I noticed myself treating myself more and more as life got busier. I was doing so well and I felt like I was going backwards from what I had already accomplished. Also, it’s getting to be so nice out so I’ll be showing more skin. Sun’s out, guns out! I can’t hide behind long sleeve tops and jeans and sweat my booty off all summer! I want to stay on track as much as I can. Then if I decide to give myself a break, then I won’t feel guilty!
Here is a “before.” I tried to make this as accurate as possible. When I say accurate, I’m talking about no high waisted leggings or shorts, no spanx, not putting my hands on my hip so my arms look smaller, not angling my body a certain way so it’s flattering to the camera, not having my hair down, not putting my chin up higher, or taking a photo from above….this photo is IT. I can’t believe I just told you all my secrets…haha! I also can’t believe I’m showing you this photo. Talk about being vulnerable!
Do you know how hard it is to find a pair of shorts or pants that aren’t mid or high waisted in my closet?! Wow…LOL! I finally found some that come right on the hip. Helloooo love handles! Also, helloooo tan lines from a soccer game 3 days ago! Do you guys love the saying on my tank?! LOL. It’s like my only workout tank.
The thing is my hubby and my kids love my body. The kids especially love my squishy belly. I’m doing this for ME not for anyone else. I’ve come a long way since January, and I know I can accomplish even more!
Now let’s get this 30 day challenge started! Who is with me?!
