I wanted a space where: 1) my kids can play & read 2) my husband & I can enjoy some drinks 3) I can have an outdoor office

I found these modern modular patio pieces that aren't too bulky.

These have Sunbrella fabrics that are all-weather and UV-resistant which is perfect especially living in the midwest!

I grabbed a patio umbrella that's 72” to fit our deck. It’s a crank lift and very easy to use.

I then added an outdoor rug, outdoor pillows, and a blanket for an inviting space.
