Happy Easter! I can’t believe during EASTER LAST YEAR, we were quarantined because of covid. This year, I couldn’t wait to be surrounded by my family. Holidays are just not the same without them especially coming from a big family.
This morning the kids received some Easter baskets from the Easter Bunny ;-). Let’s just say the Easter Bunny sure knew what they wanted and killed it with the Easter baskets! As you can tell from their smiles, they were pretty excited from what they saw.
Love how their mouths dropped from excitement!
My oldest Dylan got the ultimate snacking package. Perfect for a teenager! The Easter Bunny even folded the dollar bills into hearts. That Bunny is so darn creative. 😉
The 3 littles each ended up getting very similar items. These kids are obsessed with fidget toys and had no idea they’d see some in their baskets. You can get them on Amazon. These items in their baskets are from a local store named The Learning Post, but you can also shop online!!
We headed to Winterset Cidery which is a local site for Lutheran Church of Hope. It was an amazing service…HE IS RISEN INDEED! I can’t wait to watch service there outside during the summer on Sunday mornings!
After church, we finished up making items for our family Easter gathering and headed to my parent’s. Here’s a photo of a prayer right before stuffing our faces.
Taking photos with my sisters is a must (missing one). Can’t believe I have 6 sisters in my family and no brothers! It’s so much fun having all of us together! So many laughs!
Here’s mom in the pic. The QUEEN!…haha!
Here’s mom with the grandkids. After this, the kids were busy with an Easter egg hunt!
I hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Easter Sunday! We ate a lot, laughed a lot, and got to celebrate with family…what else could I ask for?!
