I think it’s funny when people compliment me on my hair because most of the time it looks like a rat’s nest. š When I do end up styling it, you better believe I am rocking a good hair day, and I end up showing my face on social media…LOL!
I played around with my hair so it was out of my face and ended up doing a dutch braid. Which one do you like better? Half up or a pony tail?
I didn’t do a video tutorial, but if this is something you’d like to see, just let me know! It was super easy to do!
Dutch braid:
1- Grab a chunk of hair on the top. Separate it into 3 pieces.
2- Add piece to the top, then place it below the middle piece.
3- Add piece to the bottom, then place it below the middle piece.
4- Keep doing that until you get to about your ear. Then just braid without adding pieces.
5- Now don’t miss this important step at the end. Pull the sides so then the braid looks bigger, is loose, and has volume!
This HOT TOOLS CURLING IRON is a must for me! It’s been the best curling iron I’ve used. If you want to see how I curl my hair, check out this POST.
The last product shown is dry shampoo. It’s hard finding a dry shampoo that’s safe and works for my hair. I’m so glad I found this one and have been using this DRY SHAMPOO forever it feels like, and if you look at the bottle, it looks like I’ve hardly used it! This $9.99 bottle is going to last me years, and I use it quite a bit! LOL! It also smells great. I previously used a safer dry shampoo before and it legit smelled like clay. Uhhh, noooo thanks!
I hope to do more easy hairstyles like this! Stay tuned!
